All consultations are by appointment which can be made via telephone or in person during the practice opening times.
We aim to offer pre-bookable Doctors appointments up to 4 weeks in advance, on a rolling day basis.
We are able to offer 'on the day' appointments for those who have become ill and need more immediate attention, rather than those whose appointment is more routine or follow-up is less urgent.
You have the right to express a preference of practitioner that you see, although this may mean that you have to wait longer for an available appointment.
If you have more than one issue to discuss at your appointment with the GP please ask the Reception staff to make a double appointment at the time of booking.
We do try to keep to the allocated appointment time that you are given. We apologise if on occasion you are not seen at the time allocated to you. This is because some problems take longer to deal with - please bear with us. If you are waiting longer than 20 minutes for your appointment with the GP or Practice Nurse please inform the Reception staff who will check your appointment for you.
Return Appointments
The Doctors operate a system to ensure that if they need to see a patient for a follow-up appointment this can be done via Reception.
We will do our best to ensure patients can book with a doctor of their choice, however demand on appointments can sometimes mean this is not possible and you may be offered and appointment with another Doctor. Please be aware that all clinical notes are electronic, Doctors have access to all patient records and of course the Doctors talk to each other where needed.
